Expansion in Europe for Coates Offshore

Aberdeen based energy company Coates Offshore has opened a new business hub in the Dutch city of Den Helder, in the Noord-Holland region.

The development, which features a 1600 sq metre yard and 400 sq metres of workshop and offices,   is another key step in Coates Offshore’s expansion plan to support customers at a local level in key global locations, and contributes towards the target to treble global annual revenue by 2013.

Connon Craig, Operations Manager UKCSCoates Offshore’s operations manager for Europe, Connon Craig said:  “Holland is a key market for Coates Offshore and we hope our investment in a local facility highlights our commitment to our customers in that region.  We are excited about the opportunity which now exists for Coates Offshore and our customers from establishing a local presence in Den Helder.”    

“This development will create new employment opportunities within our European operations and we look forward to growing our team, customer base and operations in Holland.  We have already received encouraging enquiries with numerous projects which are in the pipeline for delivery.” 

The Coates Offshore Holland facility will provide customers with a range of rental equipment including Zone II, rigsafe and safezone air compressors, steam generators, heat exchangers and sand filters to support offshore oil and gas developments and well testing projects.
